Dr. Crouch joined the Highway 29 team after graduating from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Hospital in April 2008. In addition to earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from MSU, she also acquired a Master of Science in Animal Physiology. Prior to enrolling at MSU, Dr. Crouch graduated from Clemson University in Clemson, SC with a degree in Animal and Veterinary Sciences.
Dr. Crouch is a long way from her native South Carolina. Moving to Texas in May, Dr. Crouch left behind her family in the Beaufort area and her brother at Auburn University. She has extended family in the Boston and West Palm Beach areas as well.
Dr. Crouch was joined in Bertram by her boyfriend, Russ, an ag teacher at Stony Point High School in Round Rock. He is a native Georgian and has been patiently waiting on settling down and teaching in a small Southern town since Dr. Crouch started vet school. He managed a pig farm in Mississippi while Dr. Crouch finished school. What a trooper!
Dr. Crouch has a four-legged family typical of a veterinarian- 4 dogs (all rescues), 1 cockatiel and 1 horse. She enjoys riding her Tennessee Walking horse when time permits. As for other hobbies, she enjoys fishing, hiking, watching Clemson football games and exploring new regions of Texas.
Dr. Crouch has always wanted to practice mixed animal veterinary medicine in a friendly town with an environment so hospitable, the community would make anyone feel as if they were raised here. She feels like she has found that place in Bertram, and she looks forward to servicing the community for many years to com
